David L Baker Teams to Play in March

Team Play was completed at San Clemente Golf Course on March 22. The team from David L. Baker consisted of: Sherrie Parker, Marlene McConville, Pat Avon, Pat Coenen, Ginger Bertoni, Sally Bates, Ann Ryan, Ellie McKirnan, Shirlee Blalack, Joyce Kubo, Joan Gibson, Karen Ford, Virginia Dishman, and Darla Nicholl. Jennie Demeo and Carolyn Fowler were unable to play due to health issues. Our C team played Costa del Sol. Mile Square Swingers and Tijeras Creek C teams. We ended up in third place, with Tijeras Creek taking first place in gross and net. San Clemente Golf Course is long and hilly, but we gave it our "best shots." The staff at the course and the weather were compatible. Many thanks to all the ladies who played and received kudos from other teams for being such a nice group of women/players.
